ALL LEAGUES ARE DOUBLE HEADERS

 

                                        

IMPORTANT NOTES

·         All leagues tentatively start Monday, May 5th. 

·         Teams will supply softballs for all league play. See rules for more details. (Balls used: ASA Approved (stamped) Men and Co-Rec .44 core 12 inch, Women .47 core 11 inch, .375 Compression.

·         The Recreation Department will provide scorekeepers for each game. ( Summer league only)

·         All batters will begin with a 1/1 count.

·         Awards - For both the regular season and play-offs, 1st and 2nd place will receive sponsor and individual awards. Home Run Hitter Awards – 1 for each league.

·         Rain-out dates are Saturday, June 14 and July 12, if necessary.

·         Home runs over the limit will be an out.

·         The number of games are subject to change depending on the number of teams registered.        

·         For adult sports only, a resident is defined as a person who resides, works in, or pays taxes to Independence Township.                              

 

BANNED BATS for Independence Township leagues and tournaments are available upon request. The Parks & Recreation Department has the right to add or delete from this list.  To review up-to-date bats online, go to www.asasoftball.com under certified equipment.
